First Shoot!!!

Well, this Friday I took pictures for one of my best friends Jessica and her husband Allan. I have always been fascinated with Kelley Moore's photography skills! She just really blows me away by her talent. Anyway, I know that I am never going to be as good as she is, but a girl can dream! ha!

So, this past Christmas, Trent bought me my first professional camera! I was so excited, but outside of just taking random pics at events, holidays, or ThomasWade I haven't really gotten to practice. So, when Jess asked me, I was super excited!

After 2 hours, an outfit change and 6 locations, I had taken 736 pictures!!! ha! Now all I have to do is edit them!! ha! Wish me luck. I will post some of the good ones after I go thru them all.

Caroline's Shower

Friday Night we had a shower for Caroline. She is having her second child this Thursday. It's a girl, so we are super excited! Caroline has red hair, so the joke is that Carley Mae is going to come out with bright red hair!! ha! It drives Caroline crazy. The shower was wonderful and everyone was so sweet to drive all the way to Jessica'a house and she got so many great gifts! Caroline has always been such a great friend and I am so blessed to have her in my life. I know that God has great things instore for her and her growing family. Anyway, I will post pics of little Carley on Thursday!! Yeah, cant wait to see her.

Well, from time time I have been known to say some pretty dumb things but today was right at the top of the list. I was sitting at lunch with some friends and co-workers and we were discussing the presidential debate that happened last Friday Night. Everyone was giving their own opinion of it and I should have just kept my mouth shut.... but I just had to say something.

I brought up the fact that I could not believe Obama kept calling McCain by the name of "Jim", his name is John. It was driving me crazy the whole night how just outright disrespectful that was!!

Then Bro. Tom informs me that the moderator name was Jim!!! ha!
